Recently crowned New Zealand’s best regional restaurant and awarded Hamilton's only Chef’s Hat by Cuisine magazine, Victoria Street Bistro has also won the 2012 Great Waikato Food Challenge, achieved top three finishes in the national finals of the Monteith’s Wild Food Challenge three years in a row and taken out the People’s Choice Award in the 2012 competition.
